The City Of Soul project showcasing the fantastic voice of Jim Diamond, is currently available with the proceeds going to Sir Tom Hunter's Cash For Kids charity. The recording features Wet Wet Wet’s Tommy Cunningham on drums, Hue and Cry’s Greg Kane on keyboards, The Proclaimers’ bassist Garry John Kane, Brian McFie on guitar (best known for his work with the Big Dish and Marianne Faithful), Stevie Mulhearn on Hammond organ and three tremendous young Glaswegian singers – Tippi, Joe Gallacher and Lynnie Carson. John is delighted to be involved in the project and provided the horn arrangements. The horn section consisted of Dave Macdonald on tenor, Fiona Garvie on alto, Al McGee on trumpet, and John on trombone.
